The Mother’s Touch

Although we’re not perfect she’s always there,
We make mistakes she’s there to care.

We give up she never will,
We break something she pays the bill.

Her eyes are blue,
she is virtuous and true,
She never stops loving or stops the praise,
She is doing her best to try and raise,
the best kids she can.
Although we disappoint sometimes,
she is there with open hands,
She spoils us rotten and shows her smile,
she offers to help when homework’s a pile.
She tries to teach us right from wrong,
The task is often hard and long.
Her only weapons are love and strength,
to teach us the time will be a long length.
She tries and tries,
when we fail she cries
We try to do good in all that we do
if only to our mothers be true.
She tries so hard and gives so much

it’s what she does.  It’s the mothers touch.
